I want to share with you, just a piece of my Aya journey in Ayahuasca Therapy Amsterdam. Most of all, I’m feeling so grateful for this opportunity. Like I said to Naomi after my first cup I’m speechless, but not because I don’t have nothing to say, right opposite I experienced so much, likewise a thousands of years in just a couple of hours. And because of the time limit I’ll try to summarize all: it was (and still continue to be) a healing, reconnecting, teaching the most/all life lessons, like Life manual process, seeing myself in so many perspectives, fulfilling with deep trust in Life, and so much more. I think the team was very friendly, engaged and created safety and trust. The music, guitar and drums was part of the total experience I wanted. The medicine itself was powerful ond guided me down the right path. I want to repeat this and try to go even deeper the next time.
It was easy to settle down on the actual place in a friendly and united atmosphere.

Crew: Naomi is truly amazing I couldn’t have had a better guide than her. I had a scary trip and she calmed me down. I will be forever grateful to her. Medicine: The ayahuasca is still working on me, it had the most powerful effect. Truly terrifying at times, actually most of the times, but its giving me tough love.
Communication: Naomi’s communication with me afterwards have been incredibly helpful and loving, without her I would feel incredibly lonely. She is like a caring mother.

I cannot recommend Ayahuasca Therapy Amsterdam enough. The people were absolutely amazing, accommodating, friendly beyond belief, and truly sincere. It was a brilliant experience that everyone would benefit from doing. 10/10 for everything!

I was very afraid to go to this ceremony, but stepping inside the house made me relax with the nice atmosphere, the team is very professional and experienced, the music selection ( that had a huge effect on me ) was very well chosen.
I quite liked that the ceremonies were in the morning, so by night we were all back and could spend the time to reflect on the journey together.

Margriet and Mo were amazing guides in our journey. Always felt ‘safe’ as in knowing that they are there for you always. GOOD music was provided and loved the calm an warmth set up of the facility. Would like to thank them for providing the possibilty to experience this journey.

It was my first experience with Ayahuasca and I was some anxieties and questions. Before I even completed the booking, I asked those questions and had full, complete and detailed answers. It helped alleviate some worries and put my mind at rest by showing that the staff were knowledgeable and would make time to help those who need it even outside of the weekend of the experience.
The facilities were functional; food and accommodation were provided and that takes a lot of the mind! Everything required is provided and us, as a group, enjoying a meal after each day’s session was a very enjoyable part of the experience.
The staff were phenomenal. Calm, patient, informed and very friendly and helpful. Margriet especially helped explain and host the ceremony expertly.
As for the medicine itself, I have no frame of reference; I don’t there is anything like Ayahuasca that I’ve been involved with, and I had never used it before. It was a profound, powerful and lasting experience though. A roller-coaster of emotions, I held off writing this review because I am still contemplating everything it’s done for me and will be for a long while.
Undertaking this journey took some motivation and effort. Having a strong feeling that this would be an supportive and competent place to do it made things more comfortable. Knowing, having been there, that this is a superb place to have an Ayahuasca ceremony, a place that will enhance the experience, means that when I take action on a message I was given by The Ayahuasca, to return to it one day when the time’s right, I’ll be going back here to do it.

I know that I won’t find the right words to describe my experience at this center but I will try my best. It was my second time doing Aya and first time with this team and I can’t be happier with the experience. Margriet and Sander took care of us on the first ceremony and I was absolutely amazed by their purity, glowing light, and positive energy. I felt so safe and happy during my trip knowing they are there. Justin is another superstar of this beautiful center, that delighted us with magical live music; drums, piano, guitar… He is amazing with the instruments and has a superb voice as well. Thank you, Justin, for making my second journey so fabulous! And last but not least, Mo is exceptionally kind and bright with so many interesting stories, I could stay for days listening to him.
The experience with Aya was deep and intense and I loved every bit of it! The surroundings are not exceptional but I didn’t feel the need for more, to be honest, the love inside was just enough.
We had spare towels if needed, freshly cooked food and fruits and much more. Everybody took care of us with love and consideration and I have great respect for each of them.
We were a small group that shared a wonderful experience, took care of each other and remained family. Actually, Ayahuasca Therapy Amsterdam is family now. Thank you, beautiful souls, for everything and can’t wait to see you again, cause I’ll be back soon 🙂

The team here are amazing, and I don’t think you’d find such amazing guides and facilitators anywhere else! Prior to booking the weekend retreat, I had questions and Mo in particular took the time to answer everything I had on my mind, which helped greatly as this was such a big step into the unknown for me.
The surrounding area could have had more green/nature, but that’s not the teams fault, and that’s not necessary for the journey you’re about to commit to if you decide to book here.
2 days was enough for me personally on this first experience, but I have no doubt in my mind that I will fly over again the future to have this journey with this team again.
What i will say is this…. There’s no words that can fully explain what you will feel or see once you begin your journey, but the team here know exactly what you need at the perfect moment that you need it, even without being able to express yourself. You’re in a very safe and loving environment.

An amazing service and experience provided by these guys from start to finish. Mo was very easy to organise everything through over email and whatsapp and once we arrived at the centre Margriet, Naiomi and Justin were great. A short taxi ride from Schipol meant I could fly in on the morning of the retreat making things easier again. This convienence does mean that you’re in a rather urban environment which makes little difference during the ceremony but afterwards would have been good to be fully immersed in nature. We only had a small group over our 2 days which made the experience very intimate. The guides were very attentive and made me very safe throughout the whole journey. Hey, first of all I’m very grateful for the team that helped me to accomplish this mission, it was great communication and understanding. I’m very thankful to Marhret, she’s amazing and she helped us a lot and cared about each of us, this is wt I felt. And the medicine I believe is good for any of us, i believe this plant can be the cure of everything and every each of us.
I fell like I’m a new person and I’m very thankful again.

What a life changing experience. I didn’t know why but I strongly felt I needed to visit Mother Ayahuasca for the first time. What I saw was my life as a baby, and preverbal revelations that no amount of psychotherapy had ever reached. I also realised how connected we all are and felt my ego dissolving. I’m truly grateful. Thank you to Margaret and Naomi for their warmth and groundedness, and for Mo’s communication. I still think about those I was there with today

It was my first time using the ayahuasca and i was nervous/excited, but Bas and Mo were easy to contact and reassuring. It feels strange to rate such a life changing experience! With 8 participants the space was enough, sound system, soft, warm lighting, acoustics in the room was good and very little intrusion from outside noises being in a quiet area… Bas said that when we finished the journey we would be like a family, i thought that must be an exaggeration, but it wasn’t.

Oh my god!!! What an unbelievable experience!
There’s no words to describe it. For the first time in my life I can say that I’ve witnessed something mystical.
My two ceremonies were complete bliss and love, and I am so deeply grateful.
This was my first Ayahuasca experience and my first time in the Netherlands. I’ve booked the 3 days retreat.
The groups are quite small, they only allow a max of 8 people, which is great!
The organisers have put a lot of care in this retreat and they’re very attentive to every detail of it.
During the ceremonies they had an eye on everyone, and I felt very safe and looked after at all times.
One of the things I loved the most was the music. Oh my goodness!! The music is so incredible! Unbelievably beautiful! It guided me through the ceremonies and it really changes everything.
The people running the retreat are all so amazing, inspiring, blessed, and loving! I do really feel like we are a big family now and we’ve all connected at a deeper level.
This experience has changed me in the deepest part of my soul and I will never forget it.

From the moment we arrived at the centre where we were given an amazingly warm hug and greeting by Justin and Margriet to the minute we left, it was the most amazingly transformative experience. Both Justin and Margriet are such beautiful souls who make you feel so cared for and respected. The medicine had a profound effect on my wife and I and we both feel like the journeys we had over our two days were life changing and one of the best things that either of us have ever done.
As well as providing an amazing brew, we were cared for so lovingly when purging and discussing our journeys afterwards. The music that is played and live music from Justin could not be any more perfect and it really is such an important part of the journey. Margriet also made some fantastic food! The other participants during our retreat were such a fantastic bunch and that made it even more enjoyable.
I can’t recommend Ayahuasca Amsterdam enough and if you’re thinking of doing a ceremony I wouldn’t hesitate to go here.

I definitely recommend this centre and in fact I’ve already passed on the details to several interested friends.
Prior to this the strongest thing I’d ever taken was a small glass of sherry, so I was nervous as well as curious and excited.
The team were excellent. I felt I was in very safe, caring, and competent hands throughout. Very well looked after physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
The other guests were great. Some people with prior experience were helpful in offering reassurance and insights.
I was motivated to come mainly out of curiosity. Everyone’s experience is different, but mine was quite mild and subtle. I was just given a deeper insight into my own beliefs and situation. I felt powerfully affirmed in my beliefs. I’m a Christian and I was given a real sense of appreciation for the gospel. I mention this also because there is quite a ‘new age’ vibe – but that didn’t bother me at all. I think everyone comes with their own perspective and everyone is made to feel welcome.
I actually left early because I felt my curiosity had been satisfied and I was very happy with the insights I had received up to that point.
I just slightly mark down communication and medicine because I think I was given a mild dose the first day (hard to say – some people were deeply affected, but myself very lightly) and I just assumed the second day would be more of the same. In fact I learned afterwards that day two was a big step up. If I had understood that I may have held on. However I must take most of the responsibility for the decision to pack up.
I don’t feel the need for another experience in the short term, but I can definitely see myself coming back at some time in my life.

I had the most beautiful and profound journeys here and met the most wonderful people. I can’t fault anything, the atmosphere, music, facilities all were magical. We were all really well cared for. First of all, I would definitely very much recommend Ayahuasca Amsterdam to others.
Especially if you like live music, piano, singing and drumming as a guiding part of your Ayahuasca journey.
Guides are experienced and professionals, the right environment and setting to feel completely safe surrender to the process. I am an experienced Ayahuasca Traveller, visited many different places and here at Ayahuasca Amsterdam it is one of the best places to be.

I had the most profound, amazing, painful, wonderful, healing and nurturing experience of my life at Ayahuasca Amsterdam. And I say that as someone who’s already been pretty happy with life.
I went there to connect with myself and others and what I got was exactly that – plus so many insights on my life, the world and beyond… and healing on physical, emotional and spiritual levels that I didn’t think was possible.
The place itself is two train stations away from Amsterdam Centraal, easy to reach and with nature/water within walking distance, in case you feel like connecting to nature after your inner journeys.
The food is delicious, natural and simple (in the best sense of the word) and they are happy to cater to your needs (vegan etc).
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Mo, Margriet and Justin for creating this beautiful and safe space and for sitting with me through my journeys. I couldn’t have felt more welcome or more secure throughout this experience. I love you guys!

I would highly recommend this place and team. The first time I did ayah I didn’t get the support I needed during or after and it was a extremely difficult experience. It took me a few years to get the courage to go again. This team helped me through until I could let go, they really were amazing and were my rock throughout. Once I could let go the healing was amazing and the change profound. Music was great, food delicious, location easy to get to, close to the station but secluded. You can put your trust in these people to see you through 100 percent, don’t debate it, book and go you will not regret it xx

What can I say about Ayahuasca Amsterdam?
Words can not describe the joy that fills my heart when I think about the center and the people there.
The team is no less than amazing, each and every one of them! they’ve helped me and so many others so much and they do so with such kindness and happiness, it makes the walls around your heart instantly melt.
The atmosphere and especially the music during the ceremonies elevates you to higher and higher levels and really helps you to go deeper and deeper into your journey and yourself.
I’ve already done 2 retreats there (and booked the 3rd) I can’t think of any other place or group of people I would rather continue my journey with.
Highly, highly recommended!!!
If it would be possible, I would have another arm surgically implanted, just so I could give them three thumbs up. 2 thumbs are just not enough 🙂

My journey with Ayahuasca Amsterdam was beyond words. I came to them broken, depressed, addicted to alcohol and had suicidal thoughts. I am now my true self with no more fear, worry or regret. I no longer need alcohol or any other substance, i have everything i need in me. I feel like my life is just beginning and i will live the best life that i can.
Baz and Margaret, our guides, are true spiritual warriors. Their love and compassion is imense and i owe them my life. I feel that i received 50yrs of therapy in 2days.
I am so happy that i chose this retreat/center. The music, the people and the facilities were just perfect.
The surroundings i have given full marks because i do not feel that the centre should be marked down on something that was irrelevant to my experience. The centre is in an industrial estate but i went there to heal and to work on my inner self, so everything external to the centre was not important and would have only been a distraction.
Communication was excellent, any concerns or worries were addressed with kindness and honest reassurance. Again i am so thankful for this experience and to Baz, Margaret and the Aya Ams team.
I am excited for all the future visitors to Aya Ams and for those taking the journey around the world. It is the most beautiful and profound experience i have ever had. Terry

I had only done ayahuasca once before this and like everyone else, chose Aya Amsterdam because of the reviews. What previous people had said about the music, the level of care by the team, the decent dosages (my first experience had been light) and all the other positive comments convinced me as well as the convenient location.
All of those things transpired to be true. The music during the retreat was exceptional. Bas, Mo and Justin playing Spirit Bird together was one of the most sublime things I’ve heard and will not be forgotten. Even in the depths of a really difficult ayahuasca experience, it managed to penetrate the fog and give me something to hold on to.
The dosage seemed really strong and had each of us holding on for dear life at times. I probably had one of the most challenging experiences the first day but every time I opened my eyes, one of the guys seemed to be there watching over me. Couldn’t have hoped for such individual attention and it was the same for everybody in the group. Puke basins were swapped out immediately, someone was always there to guide you to the toilet, or just put an arm on your back as you purged.
The second day was facilitated by Justin and Margarethe which had a different but equally fitting energy. A lovely team of people overall. And the same for my group. Such kinship gained from such a short time through our shared journey. And what a journey! Thanks Mo, Justin and Margarethe!

Aya Amsterdam, Soul Family, firstly and most importantly, thank you, I will be forever grateful for your guidance and immediate love, now how to put into words my experience?!?!
This was my first Mother Ayahuasca encounter and I chose Aya Amsterdam simply based on the reviews! I went alone hoping to address some things I have dragged with me since I was a child which have forever affected how I see myself. I tried not to but I had high expectations as I felt like this was my last option, my last real option to make a deep and lasting change to how I see myself and who I can be. From the minute I got there I felt at ease, the team and the rest of the group were warm and welcoming. I didn’t feel nervous, I felt like I was meant to be there, everything seemed right. The first Mother Aya journey was full of me tormenting myself with negative thoughts, although I thought I was open to her I was unconsciously trying to stay in control, I think I was scared. So after the first day I felt sad and disappointed but Mo and the others in the group made me feel more positive. The next day I woke up feeling better and went in simply with the intention to let go, our guides Marga and Justin were incredible, I immediately felt relaxed and safe with them, this time I let Mother Aya do her thing and she showed me who I am, with no judgements or comparisons I saw me, I embraced her and she freed me from my own negativity, she showed me how powerful and strong I am, she showed me how to heal, how to connect and how to be. I cannot thank Marga and Justin enough for helping and guiding me through my journey, this was the most powerful experience I have and will ever have and I am grateful I could share it with them and the rest of the group. This is definitely not the end, I will be back to learn more. I have never felt so calm and at peace with myself, thank you Mother Ayahuasca, love and light, Jes xx

Wow what an incredible experience. The team were so supportive and worked well together to create a beautiful atmosphere and safe space. This was my first journey with Aya and I know I personally benefited not only from the wonderful team but also the support of the rest of the group before and after each ceremony. We were strangers in the beginning but by the end it felt like we had all shared something very special together.
The music during the ceremonies was truly something magical and will stay with me for a long time. Mo and Patrick are truly amazing and kind-hearted persons, who will help you in every aspect through your sacred journey.
This was my second time attending their ceremonies, as I again heard the calling of Ayahuasca.
I can truly say, since the first time, my life has changed in a way I have never thought before: my relationships with other people started to improve, my health condition – that was unchanged for years – started to show improvements, without any significant effort.
The experiences I have gathered during my journey will stay with me forever, as they are impossible to put in words. I felt feelings and emotions, that I never thought existed, and these helped me to make changes the way I act in life. I was always shown the things I needed at that time.

I went on a 2 day retreat for self healing purposes, and wasn’t expecting to have such a great time. The team were fantastic, someone was always there for you if needed. Margaret was an angel. I would 1000% recommend this ceremony centre in Amsterdam. I’ve done three weekends in total and it changed my life. I’ve had guidance from Mo, Patrick, Adele, Sanela and Margriet. They all have different beautiful energies and wisdom that they combine perfectly! They know exactly what you need before, during and after your inner journey. They’re the most loving and caring people I’ve ever met in my life. The surroundings are perfect, the groups aren’t too big, so they can give you all the attention you need. Besides the awesome playlists they created for the ceremony, they play powerful music on instruments themselves. They provide nice healthy food and the sleeping place is very comfortable. There is a kitchen and a shower that you can use, everything is clean and organised. They will send you a briefing via e-mail and answer any questions in a quick response. There isn’t one thing that I disliked about my experience in Amsterdam.
Summarised: 10 out of 10 on every aspect. But personally I would give them a 12/10!

Awesome experience, really nice music and food. The medicine is a great tool for healing and positively pushing you onto the next stage of life. Margriet and Mo are very professional, and felt like I was in a really safe environment when the medicine brought up some burdens I’d been carrying. I did my first Ayahuasca ceremony here and it was one of the most beautiful and bizarre experiences of my life. We started out as a group of somewhat nervous, slightly awkward strangers, and ended up feeling like family. Adele and Patrick – our guides – shine with integrity, intuition and warmth. Some moments were tough for me, but I felt like I could do it with their support. If you every have the chance to try this in your lifetime, you are very fortunate.

Go to this centre. It is the best decision you can make for yourself and everyone around you. The experiences that I had have changed my life forever. I was a coke addicted, alcohol loving, anxious teenager before I attended my first ayahuasca session with these beautiful people. I have since seen so many changes in my life, having the universe work with me in ways I never even conceived to attract the people and events into my life that I need. This is the most mind-expanding experience that is available to anyone. The team here is absolutely incredible and will help you to integrate what you learn from mother ayahuasca into your life to help you to make the changes you need to make, going out of their way to aid you in any way they can. he walk from the station Halfweg-Zwanenburg was easy, just 10 min to the Ayahuasca centre. When I arrived at the centre Mo and Patrick were upstairs to welcome everybody. The surroundings are a bit funny because its a industrial area. Inside the centre it looks like a lovely dutch house. It was warm, nice and cosy and the tea was made with love. Everybody arrived and were having a nice chat to get to know each other.
Eventually we started a bit later cause people were a bit late. So at some point we went tot the ceremony area with all the matrasses, candles and instruments. We got a nice round of introduction; such a divers group; from Russia, Turkey, France, Australia etc. I was the only dutch partcipant.
Mo informed us about how everything would go and then we started the ceremony. They used sage to clean everybody. They al so offered us rapé, they blow it in to your nose. This sacred tobacco helps you to clear and focus on your journey with the ayahuasca. After this we got the mao inhibitor and we relaxed 15 min before we took the ayahuasca. If you wanted to share your intention you were free to do so, but you could al so keep this for yourself. My group was amazing everybody was so open and honest about there intentions.
This was my first ayahuasca expercience. I chose Ayahuasca Amsterdam because I loved it that Justin and Mo are playing instruments (piano, guitar and drums) during the ceremony. I al so read so many amazing reviews about the connection with the team and when i checked out the website it felt very good.
Mo was amazing at the drums when i was going through a tough piece of my journey, this really helped me. To bad Bas couldn’t be there cause of personal circumstances. So I definitely have to go back so I can listen to him playing the piano.
I healed a lot of stuff during this ayahuasca retreat and got loads of insights about so many things in my life.
The loving care from Mo, Patrick and Margeet (2nd day) were amazing. I felt so safe and comfortable. The playlist was al so amazing and will always remember me of this special weekend.

Visiting Ayahuasca Amsterdam is easily the best decision I have made in years, and gave me two of the most beneficial days of my life. I opted for a mid-week retreat and cannot do justice in words to the positive effect it has had on me.
A humble setting has been charmingly transformed into a homely safe-space to take your ayahuasca journey. The moment I arrived, I was put at ease and felt much less nervous about taking ayahuasca. Throughout my stay everything from the delicious food cooked for me, to the phenomenal live music I heard, had been carefully created to enhance the experience. I was totally at home with my new group of friends and the atmosphere was great.
Above all was the amazing level of care and guidance provided by the Ayahuasca Amsterdam team. Mo and Patrick looked after me like I am truly their brother. The love and support shown by these beautiful people to their visitors is really special and very inspiring.
For me, the ceremonies themselves were certainly a challenge at times; but ultimately a wonderfully enlightening experience. As a first timer, the medicine was perfect; and the ceremonies were hugely enhanced by the fantastic music, much of which was played live for us by Bas and Mo – two very gifted musicians!
For anyone intent on using plant medicine for help with mental well-being, I would strongly encourage a visit to Ayahuasca Amsterdam!!

Its hard to put in to words such a profound and amazing, life changing experience. It was my first time journeying with Mother Aya, and she taught me so so much….. but thats a whole other story that would takes hours to write!
What i also learnt over this weekend was that people like Patrick, Patrick (yes there are two of them) and Mo and rare and amazing beings, who not only kept us safe and secure throughout this very intense experience , but also created such a beautiful and sacred space , filled with so much love that it can only leave you thinking “wow i found my family”
To anybody who is thinking of trying Aya for the first time I can only say look no further than this centre. On my weekend retreat i met newbies as well as people who have returned many times and welcomed us with open arms. And the MUSIC…… words can not even start to explain how perfect these guys have got this, the live music , the songs played just change you forever – cant wait to see you all again xxx

This was the best most beautiful experience of my life so far. I have waited for a week before placing a review so I could everything that I have learned sink in.
The whole experience felt like I gained a new family in a new home. I went for a 2 day retreat (which I would recommend big time). Because I read so much on the internet that dieta is so important I went really strong with that. I quit smoking cannabis for 2.5 months (still counting now) and stopped smoking cigarettes a week before the ceremony. I stopped eating meat 2 weeks before and only ate raw vegetables and made fruit smoothies a week before.
My experience was soooooooo kind and visual and beautiful. I am a music producer and I love making music so when I read the reviews about Ayahuasca Amsterdam being so good in touch with their music I was very eager to experience it myself. Justin and Mo really have a special chemistry going on when they make music. It’s not just music but the love and soul they put in to it is TOTALLY worth your time with them. It will take you deeper and guide you with the words of mother Ayahuasca.
Patrick is such a kind supervisor/mentor helping you if you have a question while in your experience. His wise calmness will bring you even deeper in to this experience. All three of these guys are really the best of the best I have ever experienced.
3 soldiers in my group even told me that of all the experiences they had with Ayahuasca including in Peru this was by far the most powerful one. Bas and Mo have a lot songs of their own with piano drums mixed with very inspiring touching music from very well found carefully chosen songs. Songs that I as producer have never heard before. At the end of the ceremony retreat Patrick will give you a big list of the songs chosen by Bas. These songs will guide you further through the process of understanding and implementing when your at home or at work because they bring back these wise words and memories Mama Ayahuasca showed you.
I can see myself coming back in a couple of months because of this overwhelming big great beautiful experience. Just everything was perfect. The way Bas connects with you is like he has known you for ages. To me he really presented himself as a messenger, the one making this all happen. Such a strong very interesting guy we can learn so much from. And then there is their brewed Ayahuasca. WOW! Too good! I’m looking for friends and family members that feel strong enough to have an Ayahuasca experience and come back to Ayahuasca Amsterdam. Even if it’s only for the music I would be happy enough.
I can recommend this to everybody, go for a 2 day retreat, and most important of all is: DIET. If you want the best experience follow a strict diet and you will grow discipline by follow that. Mother Ayahuasca will respect that. The vomiting you read about on the internet will be minimal to a time of for the really healthy souls among us maybe even no vomiting. I’m happy I have chose for this Ayahuasca Amsterdam center. Everything positive thing that I read in the reviews is so true. The place is a warm open welcoming clean safe place to experience all this beautyness on earth.

First of all, I would definitely very much recommend Ayahuasca Amsterdam to others.
Especially if you like live music, piano, singing and drumming as a guiding part of your Ayahuasca journey.
Guides are experienced and professionals, the right environment and setting to feel completely safe surrender to the process. I am an experienced Ayahuasca Traveller, visited many different places and here at Ayahuasca Amsterdam it is one of the best places to be.

Love this center, their environment. You can do everything you want to release the pain- no restrictions in communication between family members. Guides play drums and piano. Oh my god!!! What an unbelievable experience!
There’s no words to describe it. For the first time in my life I can say that I’ve witnessed something mystical.
My two ceremonies were complete bliss and love, and I am so deeply grateful.
This was my first Ayahuasca experience and my first time in the Netherlands. I’ve booked the 3 days retreat.
The groups are quite small, they only allow a max of 8 people, which is great!
The organisers have put a lot of care in this retreat and they’re very attentive to every detail of it.
During the ceremonies they had an eye on everyone, and I felt very safe and looked after at all times.
One of the things I loved the most was the music. Oh my goodness!! The music is so incredible! Unbelievably beautiful! It guided me through the ceremonies and it really changes everything.
The people running the retreat are all so amazing, inspiring, blessed, and loving! I do really feel like we are a big family now and we’ve all connected at a deeper level.
This experience has changed me in the deepest part of my soul and I will never forget it.

As a first timer I was a bit apprehensive when I arrived for the two day ceremony. Within the first hours this quickly dissolved and was replaced by the feeling of being in fantastically good hands during the experience. Adele, Mo and Patrick are truly amazing individuals, each sporting very special traits who guided us through the immensely dense atmosphere during the ceremony.
The ceremony is also accompanied by their own music, which was an almost outworldish and most beautiful experience. In hindsight, the whole musical setup during the ceremony appears to me like a carefully crafted choreography that led you through the experience like a master.
The team was always present and helped when guidance or support was needed and did a fantastic job with much empathy and love.
In that setting, I had a mind boggling journey with them and my ceremony mates and feel that I have a lot of work ahead of me now. And I’ll be back for sure!

This is a very accessible center close to a major airport ( Amsterdam ) that offers one day ceremonies. It is thanks to that Ayauasca became accessible to someone like me ( single mother with many commitments and limited time and budget to travel ).
My guide was Patrick, he did a fantastic job at preparing me for and supporting me through the journey. I felt an immediate trust, love and peacefulness in this urban temple.
They also pay a lot of attention to ensuring they source a high quality product from suppliers they know.

For me it was a big step to actually attend a Ayahuasca ceremony due to certain fears. After years of considering I finally took the step and attended a individual ceremony.
The day of the ceremony I was really nervous, but when i arrived and sat down with Mo and Patrick all the tensions fell of my shoulders. Both of them have very open, warm and relaxed personality so I kind of felt at home in an instance (wich is very rare for me).
They explained everything very clear to me, we meditated together and by the time I was about to drink the Ayahuasca I absolutely felt safe and was ready for the unknown experience I was about to have.
Personally I had a very intense inner experience. This expirience was somehow carried by the beautiful music and live instrumentation they played. Half way during my journey I met Mo wich also had a very comforting presence. These 3 beautiful souls really where there for me during what I think was one of the most beautiful/personal and intense moments in my life.
It was beyond what I expected and I am very grateful for what I have seen/heard & experienced. I processed alot and really felt love in the purest form wich really was a 180 flip on the state of mind that I had a week before.
I can go on and on but I just want to send big thanks and love to Patrick & Mo for guiding me trough this life changing experience !!

This place is amazing.
This was a last minute booking for me. I decided a week before to try and book an Ayahuasca retreat and I turned to Google to find somewhere local to me (UK). I came across Ayamundo and immediately found the reviews for Ayahuasca Amsterdam. It was the reviews here that sold this place for me. I quickly found the Ayahuasca.amsterdam web site too and again the reviews were what sold this place to me.
After contacting the centre to see if there was space for me to join the mid-week retreat, Mo came back to me. All the details were arranged and he added me on WhatsApp so we could discuss my travel plans and arrange for him to collect me from my hotel the morning of the retreat. So I was all set. It was all very easy!
I was very nervous that first morning, but as soon as I met Mo and Patrick, I was immediately at ease. The place they have is in a unit close to Schiphol, so very handy for travellers. Once inside it felt very homely and welcoming.
The whole three days was amazing – the ceremony, the staff, the other attendees – we were all like one big happy family at the end of the day one. So much love in the room – it was amazing.
Nothing was too much trouble – lots of teas to choose from, plenty of water, and the food in the evening was lovely.
I have to say I was so happy to leave on day three and get back to the outside world – that was because I’d had such a profound experience and was then ready for the world again, and to begin my life again.
I am still processing my journey – that will take a while, but I still have the support of my fellow Aya travellers and the great staff at Ayahuasca Amsterdam. Thank you all!

An amazing experience from the airport picking up to the check out. The team : Patrick,Mo and Bas and my group were just beautiful souls full of kindness and knowledge. As a first timer, I was very well taken care of and reassured even before ceremony. The plant medecine is simply magical, everybody’s jouney is different but everyone’s outcome ended up being positive and full of love. I couldn’t have chosen a better center for my Ayahuasca experience. We also had a lovely dinner, deep and super interesting conversations and a beautiful walk in the forest the next day. I could write a whole book about this life changing experience but all I can say is don’t hesitate, answer your calling and you’ll see the light that will shift your life’s perspective for the better.

It has been 4 weeks since I finished my 2 day ceremony with Ayahuasca Amsterdam – I wanted to give myself some time to consolidate my thoughts on the experience before sharing it. I was called towards Aya this year to help me with some patterns of behavior which no longer serve me, and chose to go to Amsterdam because I live in the UK and couldn’t afford the time or money to get to S.America. I was a little apprehensive going on my own, but mostly excited after reading the other reviews…but nothing could have prepared me for such an experience. What the team (I had Patrick, Adele, Mo) are doing here is something incredibly special and powerful, I believe they are truly the kindest, most loving, inspiring and caring people ever. I cant even imagine the knock on effect on the many, many lives their work here is doing! The place is very welcoming and I felt at home the moment I got there. In the past I have hated and avoided sleepovers but here I was in a room with a bunch of strangers for two days feeling so at ease – like we were already friends. I really enjoyed the beginning of the ceremonies, especially the meditations, the singing bowls (my favourite! I was so happy!) and the intention setting was a very powerful way to start the ceremonies.
I went with a very clear intention and had a very powerful, long and deep journey on both days, which just cannot all be put into words, but has helped to uncover and process the root of a 16 year long battle with an eating disorder and anxiety and depression and wipe all of the negative emotions attached to those memories clean. The first day was particularly difficult and at times distressing but I knew that I was in safe and caring hands at this place, so I allowed myself to go where I needed to go in order for Aya to show me what I needed to see. Whenever I came back into the physical reality there was always the comfort of one of the guides checking if I was ok, if I wanted to go to the loo or if I was thirsty etc. and towards the end of day 2 laughing and smiling with me as I came back into this reality feeling so light and free. I honestly couldn’t wait to get going with the second ceremony on the second day, which was much lighter than the first day where I went to some dark places. Day 2 reminded me about the miracle of creation and celebration of life, so much so that I just couldn’t wait to get on with my life!
The last month has been very interesting for me, as I have integrated the experience with my life. The first surprise is that I haven’t smoked, or had caffeine for a month (both very ingrained habits) – this wasn’t what I went to Aya for but hey what a lovely surprise that I don’t need them in my life any more – it just doesn’t make sense now! When I think and talk about the eating disorder (bulimia), I feel detached from the memories; like they belong to a past life or a different reality; again – it just doesn’t make sense any more to make myself sick and I cant believe I was doing it all of this time! Unlike other habits and addictions, I cant simply go ‘cold turkey’ on food… So I am in a process now of re-learning which food thoughts are normal and which are not; I’ve been working on this hard for a year already but this has really been helped by my Aya experience and connecting me to myself (not my thoughts!) The biggest relief is that actually making myself sick now is not an option 🙂 I had a very moving experience with Aya where the burden was lifted from me and after 16 years, I no longer have to do this any more 🙂 Now the burden of shame and guilt has gone I have been freely talking to my family about my experience (and able to do so with a detachment from the issue since it is left in the past).
I have noticed that with time, the thoughts from my ego are returning, but my meditation practice is helping me to keep connected to my higher self – and now that my experiences with Aya have taught me so much more about my ‘self’ and who I really am, that feels much less effort now. I feel like the journeys I went on were part of a much bigger journey I am on, and it needs constant work and practice to stay on the right path; it isn’t effortless but now it is possible 🙂
Some practical bits: from my first inquiry right through to my arrival, the communication with the team was excellent, I was picked up at the airport and dropped off again afterwards. I was always warm, comfortable and there was plenty of fruit juice, herbal teas, healthy food (which was so good after days of fasting!) and I have been very impressed by the post ceremony support via a whatsapp group too 🙂 Also, the music played during the ceremonies is amazing and I listen to the playlist frequently (especially when sleeping) and it takes me back to that place of love!! Thank you so much AA team. I hope to be back some day!!! You are AMAZING PEOPLE! THANK YOU! XXXX

I have done Ayahuasca now twice – both times here and I already feel like this is my second home and the team is like second family to me.
I chose this place because I felt they are spiritual people BUT yet connected to the earth. And I was right. I just love these people and the place. Facilities are good, there is all you need and not too much, simple and beautiful.
Guidance and music was perfect. The Team knew exactly what I needed and when. If I needed a hug, they gave me one. If I needed privacy, they gave me some space.
Just before it was time to go home, they took us to the forest for a fantastic walk.
I am so happy I shared my journey with them!

I did my session with Goddess Adele and Warrior Pat, what amazingg souls to hold such a sacred space , the process itself is mind blowing in a good way, but my heart is full of joy because the space this team holds makes everything so fluid. Our souls connected and I felt home and I just let go and danced with the process knowing LOVE and SUPPORT is around me. I had my first Ayahuasca ceremony at this center and it was a wonderful experience. I don’t think that i will even try another center.
The guides are there for any one who needs assistence. They are very attentive and come to you, when they see that you need help.
The guides i worked with were Patrick and Mo, all wonderful and very helpful people! They are also musically talented and their playing just lifts up the spirit. They emanate a kind, loving vibe which is very comforting.
Especial thank you to Mo for buying that Speculoos for my breakfast, it was so delicious that i had to buy two cans to take home with me 😀

I was very sceptical at first, both of the power of Ayahuasca, and this centre. The centre is in an industrial estate on the outskirts of Amsterdam above a mechanic’s workshop, and not easy to find.
When I eventually found the place and managed to get in, it is actually quite nice inside. But the best thing about the whole experience is the people running it, they are possibly the nicest people I have ever met, they did an amazing job of looking after us and helping us through our journey.
They are not shamans (as they weren’t born in Peru), and this isn’t the rainforest, but now I have done Ayahuasca with them in their rooms above a workshop I feel no need to travel to South America. It may not have been the most ‘authentic’ experience, but it did exactly what I needed it to do. Their version of the ceremony is like a modernised, European one and I see absolutely nothing wrong with that, being a modern European myself.
I’d highly recommend this place to anyone, the healing I experienced was even better than I’d expected, and the whole experience was incredible.

I participated in a weekend retreat with Ayahuasca Amsterdam. Long story short, I had an unforgettable, life-affirming experience thanks to the mind-blowing power of Ayahuasca, the care and knowledge of the Ayahuasca Amsterdam team, as well as the love and friendship of a wonderful cohort of fellow attendees.
First, I would like to communicate something of the overwhelmingly positive experience I had with Ayahuasca. Describing the experience in words is notoriously difficult, but I believe one grasps the essence of how it feels when one imagines the ecstasy of falling in love coupled with a 3-hour long, body-shattering orgasm and a sprinkling of hallucinations. My Ayahuasca experience purged me of negative thoughts and energy and flooded me with love, wonder, laughter and passion for life, and it left me feeling great for long afterwards. It was truly an extraordinary experience which I believe everybody ought to try.
But it was not only I that had such a good experience; every one of the attendees had a positive experience. Besides myself, the retreat was attended by an eclectic bunch of people of various ages from around the world, each with their own unique troubles. It was profoundly touching to witness the transformation of these people over the course of the weekend. In fact, there were some fantastic success stories. People who had been suffering for a long time were visibly more confident, more positive and radiant. We all became very close, very quickly; we had become great friends by the end of the retreat.
The team was also spectacular. Much thanks to Adele, Patrick, And Mo for facilitating such a wonderful experience. Their attentiveness to every aspect of the ritual was the basis for a rich, all-around experience. It was obvious that all the members of the team are passionate about ayahuasca and that it has had a profound impact on their own lives. The team is actually a close-knit community of friends; their own stories of suffering and subsequent healing with ayahuasca were remarkable and inspiring. They positioned themselves as guides rather than as teachers throughout. Their clear care for the well-being and flourishing of the attendees was heart-warming. Their good-vibes and enthusiasm created the perfect environment in which to have an ayahuasca experience. Anybody seeking to try ayahuasca will be in good hands with this team.
As for the facility itself, it was modest, but it provided a very pleasant and comfortable environment in which to have the experience. The facility was easy to get to from Amsterdam central and is located in a suburb of Amsterdam. The team created an atmosphere using musical instruments and they were equipped with a variety of curious devices to tingle the senses and ignite the imagination. They also provided delicious soup to eat and other food. What’s more, Ayahuasca Amsterdam has a dedicated community that continues to provide support and advice after the retreat via WhatsApp.
I cannot recommend this experience, and this team, highly enough. It was an extremely rewarding experience that is continuing to have positive ramifications in my daily life. Everybody should try ayahuasca!

I could not be more pleased with my experience of “Ayahuasca Amsterdam”.
Since this was my first time trying this medicine I had many thoughts running thru my mind before and upon arrival. However, “Mo” and the rest of the team made a remarkable job in making all feel safe and in really god hands which is crucial for having a positive experience.
I attended at a two day ceremony which I personally think is a minimum if you are carrying a lot of mental luggage.

The team are amazing. From my personal journey there, they were intuitive, knowledgeable, experienced and patient. They knew when to step in and when to stay back throughout the entirety of the ceremony, and how to help in those difficult moments; I cried helplessly in the lap of one of the shamans, and was thoughtfully hugged in my most difficult moment of letting go. In some of my more lucid moments under the effects of Ayahuasca, I noticed the same care and attention being spread around equally, no one was favoured and yet all were, from the beginning until well after the effects wore off, they did their job/ goal brilliantly.
I initially booked a two day ceremony, fearing the effects may not take hold the first time through. I was wrong. The medicine/ hallucinogen is authentic. I only ended up taking one cup as I was well and truly out and can barely recall being offered the second cup, instead I have a vague recollection of asking for help instead, which led to the crying in the lap and hug. Again, what they offer is ‘genuine’. I had enough to think through that I left the following day before the second ceremony begun, I got what I needed if not what i expected.
When and if booking this place, one must understand it is in a light industrial area of Amsterdam. This is not the jungle nor beach. It is instead an area of incredible convenience mixed with an element of compromise, being only 20-45 minutes travel from Schiphol airport depending on your mode of transport. The location itself is well sound insulated and the surroundings conducive to a pleasant, painful and safe Ayahuasca ceremony.
I recommend taking the powder they offer before the ceremony commences, which is designed to augment the hallucinogenic effects of Ayahuasca, but to each their own.
I will be back when I’m ready for another ass kicking.

I had a amazing journey, i was nervous at the beginning but Patrick and Bas made everything really comfortable and let my nerves disappear. Myself with my wife have been looking to try the experience for a good while now, having heard a lot of interesting things about it all from too many interesting people to ignore it any longer.. We actually chose Ayahuasca Amsterdam based on the reviews on this website. Due to the work commitments we could only do a one day ceremony.
Now I’m a very realistic person and when Patrick said at our arrival ”we meet as strangers, but will leave as a family”, I didn’t believe it. I thought I know myself well and I don’t form relationships easy. And I could’t be more wrong. I will not try to even attempt to explain the ceremony experience itself because it’s not possible. No words can be enough. You simply need to experience it. All I will say is that it completely shattered my beliefs, emotions, and whatever else possible. We’ll still need a lot more time to process everything we went trough, felt and experienced, but I can say without a doubt, what we got from it all is invaluable, positive, eye opening….
Patrick and Adele were fantastic from start to finish. Their support during the ceremony itself was absolutely essential, especially for my wife who had had some really tough moments.
To end, I simply have to admit. Yes, we all became a very close family at the end. No doubt about it. Amazing experience, even more amazing hosts.. Thank you and see you again

Adele and Pat are very welcoming and it is like you are staying in their home. The building is in the middle of an industrial park and doesn’t look like anything on the outside, but inside it is a place full of love, acceptance and warmth.

Words can’t describe how special this experience was. I had absolutely no experience with ayahuasca or psychadelics in general, but Patrick and Adele immediately made me feel welcome and prepared for my time at the retreat.
Everybody was so understanding and respectful of eachother, and I doubt I’ll ever have the pleasure of meeting so many beautiful people like this again. The sacred circle was excellent, and we were always well looked after and felt protected throughout both ceremonies. Music was also unbelievable and took the journeys to the next level, with some of our own songs that fit the mood!
If you feel the “calling” then come here. I’ve already recommended this to many personal friends and would do the same for anyone.
Just remember, this is a medicine. You will meet amazing people and learn a lot about yourself, but do your research first and be honest when you go into this.

Last weekend I had my first Ayahuasca experience. I booked a weekend retrait with 2 sessions. It was by far the most beautiful thing I have ever experienced in my life. The first day was exhausting. The guys have a lot of experience with Ayahuasca and also worked a lot on themselves. (in the double or even triple digits numbers)
I experienced first ceremony with Adelle, and Mo.
The second ceremony was with Patrick, and Mo.
From the get-go you can tell they are not your average Dutch people and you see they have been on a spiritual quest – warmer vibe to them.
They are music artists as well, and for this reason alone, I would recommend you do it with them!! The vibes you get from the awesome Spanish guitar+drum ambient are something else.
Also, thank you so much for the playlists!
Also, I appreciate Mo letting me experience the peruvian tobacco (Rapé) for an instant wakeup after the 1st ceremony. I think that did it’s trick in order to prepare me for the 2nd day.
Talking and sharing helps put your thoughts in order, as well.
9/10 for surroundings: it’s in an urban setting, so,… 10 would be for a jungle, I guess. But I left 10/10 for a good impression.
Ayahuasca is in the grey area, legally speaking, so the remote urban district is a compromise that the guys had to make. – also, it’s more accessible
ABOUT MY EXP:
(I kept the veggie diet and no sex rule)
First day was for accommodation and cleansing; it seemed like I was drinking poison. I was also very tired from the flight and slept only 3 hours the night before, didn’t knew the persons involved and I had reservations; add all that and you get a more bumpy first ride.
The second day, however, I felt a warm energy while resting my hands on my chest, and I guess, it mattered how I approached the ceremony – with ease and almost not being able to wait for it to start 🙂 . I sensed much love from both the plant and Patrick’s energy and opened my 3rd eye to some extent. Didn’t get to let go of the ego – should have drank that 3rd cup. But I learned how to properly meditate after this. And I was given a lot of answers in the process, to many questions that I’ve had.
Food: awesome, awesome soup, Mo! Need that recipe!
+ fruit salad after each ceremony
+ great breakfast on the last Sunday; (again, only soup on Saturday, since you can’t eat solid stuff before the ceremony)
I made new astral brothers in this process and these people saw a facet of mine no other of my social contacts have.
I would like to only do the ceremony with them, from now on, but who knows, maybe I’ll experiment with other people’s vibes and their intent recipes.

Where do I start,I’m still processing the experience i had! I am a 48 year old man,I experienced a severe trauma in my life 17 years ago and it left me with a severe depression which I had battled ever since,my life really was a living hell and after all those years of suffering I had really come to the end of my ability to keep going,it’s hard to admit but it’s the truth, I had been searching for relief,meaning in my life for so long but every day was heartache and pain! I literally could not take a really deep breath because I had a stabbing pain in my heart when I did!
I think it was about 6 months ago when I saw a video about ayahuasca on YouTube,it was about how it could heal trauma,both physical and emotional/mental which was how I was suffering,my life was in a downhill spiral,drink drugs etc and all to dull the pain I was in but it was just making it worse anyway I started researching ayahuasca and where I could access the medicine without going to the amazon and thank god amsterdam came up in the search, there were quite a few choices about where to go and as I was browsing through I came across ayahuasca Amsterdam’s site and saw a picture of BAS smiling and full of life and I knew immediately that I would be ok with this man,so I went ahead and booked a 2 day ceremony package.
The facility was small intimate and cosy,there is a nice park a short walk from the facilities which was nice for chilling and collecting of my thoughts, MO and the staff helpers were amazing,I cannot praise them enough,I felt sooooo welcomed and cared for the whole time I was there I can honestly say that there was great love in that place, as I said I was not in a good way when I got there,I was prepared for the worst,even death that was how I felt,I was frightened before we started the ceremony but the guys reassured me all would be well and that they would be with me the whole time
So the ceremony started,it was very relaxed and chilled,we prayed and I asked for healing of my problems,I drank the ayahuasca and lay down to let it do it’s thing……what followed was probably the hardest thing I’ve ever experienced ,I was shown so much by the lady of the vine,what a POWERFUL BEING,it’s hard to put into words but my prayer for healing was granted but it wasn’t easy no way it was,my whole psyche was stripped down,healed and put back together,my soul out of my body,it was unbelievable!!!
So after 2 ceremonies how am I? Well I feel AMAZING!! I could jump for joy,my depression is gone!! The pain is gone,I can BREATH again without pain,it’s unbelievable,I am still trying to get my head around it,I feel truly blessed,we are not in this alone,we are loved and supported,, I came home a different man,I have hope again in my heart…
I cannot thank MO and all the helpers for what they did for me,for the love,happiness,beautiful music,awesome soup! They have truly changed my life! I will be back to see them again, I feel mother ayahuasca has more to show me so I will be coming back next year to see the guys again,,,truly I can’t wait

While doing a lot of research on Ayahuasca I expected it will have a transformative, life changing effect on me. To balance these somewhat grand and seemingly unrealistic hopes I shifted my focus on intentions. But after participating in two Ayahuasca ceremonies I don’t think I will be the same person again, it was that powerful! Although ultimately it’s your journey but you can’t do it alone. And I made the best decision by choosing Ayahuasca Amsterdam for that.
They created a very nurturing, almost magical setting. Music is of paramount importance and . The help from guides – Patrick, Adele and Mo was incredible, to say the least. Not only they held the space to have this mighty experience but also helped with practicals: picking up from the airport, serving food and drinks, helping go to the toilet. Everything was thought through to a miniature detail, to perfection.

The whole team is incredibly amazing and helpful. When you come there you feel like you’re home even not knowing anyone.
They take a perfect care during the journey and after. Can’t describe it but it was a perfect guidance for me. Just like parents which want to get their kids to be healthy and happy. And with small or bigger group they still made it individual for each of us.
So much goodness in their hearts.
And the music, playing on instruments, singing was a big healing addition to all of it.
Surroundings aren’t that good but inside of the center is beautiful and makes this specific energy when you forget where you are.
I hope for nature outgoing. Maybe one day I can come here once again and experience everything surrounded by Mother Nature.

My girlfriend Christie and I attended the centre last week end for a two day ceremony. Like most first timers we were excited but nervous on the journey that lay ahead, but from start to finish we were put at ease, and when we needed help during some of the difficult times, Mo and Adele were on hand to offer comfort love and support, and we don’t know how we would have got through those times without them.
This was a truly life changing experience for both of us, the centre, people, food and environment all added to giving us a magical time, and its something that will live with us forever. I cannot praise the centre enough for what they have given us, and the love and peace we had both during our time, and since is overwhelming.
Yes it was tough at times, and we had to let go of the past so that we could be re-born, but having gone with hope and expectation (and nerves), we came away with everything we hoped for and more, so much so that during day one of the ceremony, Christie asked me to marry her, and she is no longer my girlfriend, but is now my fiance and we are engaged to be married next year.
I would recommend this centre to anyone looking to experience Ayahuasca for the first time, if you prepare properly and treat this medicine with respect, the love and rewards are forever in your heart.

Trying Ayahuasca for the first time I was a bit anxious but MO have been incredibly reassuring, compassionate and caring throughout the ceremonies. I can’t recommend these guys highly enough, did a two day ceremony at their excellent centre in Amsterdam, they picked me up and dropped me off at the airport and took care of me all weekend.
Mo and the team place so much effort into creating a safe and supporting environment. Luckily I had two wonderful journey’s but another in my group struggled a bit, Mo went above and beyond in supporting this individual, staying with him through the night to make sure he was OK
As Mo and the team themselves, they are honestly one of the nicest, coolest, soundest guy’s you’ll ever meet, I rocked up in Amsterdam to do an Ayahuasca ceremony and ended up making two great friends (as will you)
As for taking Ayahuasca……..My only advice would be, leave your preconceptions at the door. I’d “researched” the medicine in depth before attending my ceremony and it was nothing like I expected, I’m still processing a wonderful, mind blowing experience

This was my first time taking ayahuasca and even before I left, I was already thinking about my next visit to Ayahuasca Amsterdam. In short, there’s no doubt that these guys have my recommendation. The longer version follows below.
One could potentially describe coming here as drinking a bitter liquid with two guys you’ve only just met at an industrial location. That would be completely missing the point as, once you step inside the building, the outside world becomes irrelevant and you are in safe hands to do exactly what you came for. Mo and the team are two lovely, genuine and completely reassuring individuals. I felt very comfortable in the warm, spiritual location they’d created and was instantly happy to follow all their steps. Neither of them push any particular direction on you – in fact they do the opposite, making it clear that this is your journey. Although they talk about guidance, they are not really there even to guide you, but simply support you.
I won’t talk about my own journey on ayahuasca itself as that will always be a unique and personal experience which couldn’t apply to anyone else. While it was at some points challenging, it was completely rewarding with Mo and the team always on hand for steadying me mentally and physically. There’s nothing flashy or wasteful about what they do and neither is it lacking, being soulful and respectful at all times. Music is very much a part of their experience, both recorded and played (beautifully) live in person. And damn, that tomato soup was good!
A small aside. If you’re there during the daytime, you’ll find that there’s a park a few streets away from the industrial setting with an urban farm and a small lake with trees and ducks. This is actually a good metaphor for Ayahuasca Amsterdam: Nature’s hidden beauty beyond however the initial location appears.

For those that are looking for a place to have ayahuasca, I can’t recommend this place enough! I could not be more pleased with my experience of “Ayahuasca Amsterdam”.
Since this was my first time trying this medicine I had many thoughts running thru my mind before and upon arrival. However, “Mo” and the rest of the team made a remarkable job in making all feel safe and in really god hands which is crucial for having a positive experience.
I attended at a two day ceremony which I personally think is a minimum if you are carrying a lot of mental luggage.
Based on my intuition and experience with the team of “Ayahuasca Amsterdam” I felt that they were all genuinely good people with big hearts running the center with pure good intentions and minimal economic motivation.

Me and my boyfriend were there for a one day group cermony. Afterwards we both wished we had booked the two day cermony.
Mo and his team were fantastic guides and were genuine caring and loving.
They are equipped with great empathic skills which made it possible for them to really be there for each individual all through the journey. They personalized the cermony to each group members need.
The environment were very peaceful and the atmosphere ideal for its purpose.
The team also provided live music in a tune that eased a journey.
I must also mention the superb catering they provided, perfect to get the strenght back.
This team really know what they are doing!
We are so very happy we found this safe and genuine loving environment for our first Ayahusca journey.

Very powerful and good moon ceremony. Couldn’t have been any better with the experienced and competently guidance and everything. The live music (guitar, piano, voice, drums) is super strong and helps you very much on your journey. I’m not sure but they are the only ones here with live music, I can’t stress enough how important it is. If the purification part hits you too hard they are there for you and help you very much with hands on energy-projection, crystals and what not. Another good thing is that their group ceremonys only have a maximum of 6 people, and so everyones safety and potential is at a maximum (unlike other places with 16 people or so, where theres too many energys for you to handle in a relatively small room). And of course the other stuff in the other reviews are 100% correct. The centre may be in a industrial area, but its a good thing for me as you don’t have to worry about neighbors or other people as there are none. It is also very quiet since its far away from the main streets and you don’t hear any cars. very important to be prepared for the ceremony, prepare mentally, physically (also diet) and read about ayahuasca (even though they explain everything before the ceremony with cups of tea at the table). All in all its the best ayahuasca experience I have ever had..

I couldn’t have asked for a more comfortable experience than the one I had with Mo and the team along side me on my ayahuasca journey.
Every need was taken care of with ease throughout the two ceremonies I partook in with my sister- literally, spiritually and emotionally.
The facility itself was homely and cosy and the protector Mo and his enchanting music made it all the more so.
I felt as though Mo was our carer and provider while Sanela was our much needed, unforgettable, beautiful motherly presence!
Overall, my experience was unforgettable and when it comes to facilitating ayahuasca I couldn’t have asked for a better team than them.

As the previous voyager said in his review, it’s the people that make the experience, not just the ayahuasca.Mo and the team are so overflowing with joy and love, it’s contagious. They also strive to take the best care of everyone embarking on a journey. Mo is considerate, endlessly generous, and makes the BEST food! . He responds with genuine care, and makes everyone feel safe and protected during what is a highly-charged emotional time. I can’t stress how important it is to have the right guides, andMo and the team are unparalleled in their profession, if you ask me. They have their unique, complementary energies, and work in tandem to create a perfect setting for the best ayahuasca experience. I would particularly recommend them to first-timers.
The setting is ideal; carefully decorated, cosy, and peaceful. The guys have an excellent sound system which really propels you deep into your voyage, into another universe! .

It is really the people that makes the experience, not only the drink.
The team of Mo, were amazing and they guided me and my girlfriend into what was for us the unknown with safety and confidence.
Their attention to detail was astonishing, and the music abilities of Mo are incredible in the way, that flows into your mind and propels you deeper into your journey.
I will never forget the day that i meet this amazing guys, that really changed my life for the best!

The place inside is amazing, and the decoration and comfort is perfect! The place is in an industrial area, but not as bad as i thought it would be, but… who really cares?

Heilige reis!!!
Alweer een jaar geleden dat ik Ayauasce heb gebruikt maar nog dagelijks merk ik hoe mij dit veranderd heeft. Meer diepgang, een completer overzicht van het hele leven, rust in het zijn hier op aarde en zin om volluit te leven.
Mo is een Master in het begeleiden en met zijn smaak van muziek en zijn onbeperkte prachte lijst, die werkelijk de Ayahuasca reis tot een heilige reis maakt. . Ik zat zo te genieten van de reis .mo heeft me de lijst nog gemailt en nog dagelijks speel ik die lijst af en kom ik weer in dat gevoel van toen.
Wat ik met name helemaal TOP vind is dat de groep zo klein is en daardoor relaxt. Er is echt ruimte voor iedereen en je ervaart daardoor een geborgenheid.
Ayahuasca is echt een eye opener voor mij geweest en samen met mijn vriendin zijn we aan deze reis begonnen en heeft het ons enorm veel gebracht. Doordat we het samen hebben gedaan, hebben we er ook veel over kunnen hebben en merk je ook hoe verschillend een reis kan zijn. Ikzelf ben door het hele universum gereisd en heb voor mijn gevoel echt ervaren dat het leven gewoon een ervaring is, niets meer en niets minder, het is wat je er zelf van maakt. Dit kan klinken als doelloos en wellicht ook simpel maar het bekrachtigd ook enorm, want het betekend dat alles mogelijk is, er zijn geen grenzen. Hierdoor sta je weer voor de keuze, wat wil ik met mijn leven en wat kies ik.

Despite happening upon them by chance, myself and my sister agree that our experience with Ayahuasca Amsterdam could not have been better. I am so happy that we chose to have our first Ayahuasca ceremonies with such a compassionate and fun team as Mo, and Sanela. My sister being young (18) and a little nervous before the experience, was put at immediate ease in the company of these loving, generous people.
Undertaking something as potentially transformative and emotionally rattling as an ayahuasca ceremony requires that you to put a lot of trust in your guides. Personally I have always struggled with trust issues, but upon meeting Mo I immediately felt as though I could trust him with my life, strange as that realisation was to me. His personal transformation story is an inspiring one, and one that instantly fired me with confidence. There’s hope for us all. I felt as though he wordlessly understood where I was coming from, and sincerely wanted to help me heal myself emotionally. There is no such thing as a ‘lost soul’ with these guys; they care deeply about everyone who trusts themselves into their care, and will go above and beyond to make their stay as comfortable as possible.
Nothing is any trouble to Bas, who happily picked us up at our hotel and dropped us back on the last day. I was also blown away by the kindness of , Mo. He was always there to deliver anything we needed, be it encouragement or simply a peanut butter sandwich at midnight 🙂 He made himself available around the clock to whip us up any food we wanted, always with a smile and some kind words. The fresh fruit salad was carefully prepared and tasted utterly mind-blowing when floating back down to earth as the ‘medicine’ was wearing off. Sanela joined us on the second night, and the nurturing, warm spirit she brought with her changed the course of my night for the better; I was having a difficult time emotionally, and knowing that she was by my side made all the difference to the tone of my night. Thank you Sanela for all you did for us that night–I’ll never forget it.
The ceremony room was cosy and beautifully put together; we lay on comfortable white mattresses and bedding while looking up at a colourful light show cast on the roof and walls by the many flickering candles. Incense burned and cups of fragrant tea were endlessly handed out by Mo. The atmosphere was almost ethereal. Mo treated us to a great soundtrack throughout the night, If they like, guests are encouraged to bring their own instruments, and on the second night we were enchanted by some amazing lute playing by our new friend Tony. For a music lover such as myself, the ambience was perfect.
Overall, I am delighted and quite moved by my experience with Ayahuasca Amsterdam.Mos is a master at what he does, and his team ensure that every guest is catered and cared for, down to the finest detail. I wholeheartedly recommend choosing them to guide you through your journey with ayahuasca, particularly if you are a newbie like me. I know I’ll be back soon.

To say it lightly,
I thank everything in life that led me to Mo, and my journey guided by them. I randomly happened upon them thanks to this website and their lone review at the time, so I’d be grateful to be that same random reason for someone else. Mo let me know what I could do before the day itself to prepare. The day of, Mo picked me up at my hotel, drove me to where the journey would happen, and eased me with good conversation. They prepared the room and me for the journey and were there for me every step of the way. While I won’t go into my personal journey, I can say Mo knew exactly what I needed. , Mo, and I shared stories through my comedown. Mo prepared a feast for the 3 of us, probably the best tasting food I ever had. They drove me back to the hotel, but the time in between the car rides were the best of my life. I connected with Mo on a deep level, and I know I will keep in contact with them for years to come. Eternally grateful for this place and the people that make it up.

De dag dat ik Ayahuasca bij Mo heb gedronken schaar ik onder één van de bijzonderste dagen van m’n leven. Bij hen was het mogelijk om een duo ceremonie te doen. Dit heb ik met mijn vriendin gedaan en was heel mooi en bijzonder samen mee te maken! Ik had al 2 keer eerder Ayahuasca gedronken, maar deze ervaring ging daar voorbij. De drank zelf kwam voor mij veel fijner en intenser binnen. Ik heb een diepere en waardevollere reis gehad als de vorige keren. Maar wat er voor mij helemaal uitsprong was de begeleiding. Mo en zijn team waren echte Engelen, vol vreugde, licht en liefde! Alles kon, alles mocht, het was ons huis. Er was zoveel ruimte om onze eigen ervaring te hebben. En toch waren ze er op de momenten dat we ze nodig hadden. Er is met zoveel zorg naar me omgekeken. Ik heb me zelden zo begrepen en veilig gevoeld. Ook na de ceremonie was er nog alle tijd om lekker te blijven liggen, er is heerlijk voor ons gekookt, sapjes gemaakt, er stond geen tijd op naar huis gaan, alles was oke! Ik durf iedereen blind naar ze toe te sturen!

Wauw wat was dit een heftige maar prachtige ceremonie. Ik heb zelf 3 keer eerder ayahuasca gedaan, maar deze keer was het voor mij echt life changing. Bij de vorige ceremonie (bij iemand anders) had ik 3 glaasjes en truffels nodig om erin te komen, maar bij Bas was het na 1 glaasje en 5 minuten raak. Ik heb een DUO ceremonie gedaan samen met mijn vriend en het was echt een geweldige ervaring. Mo en zijn team zijn zo liefdevol en relaxt. Ik heb me zo thuis en op m’n gemak gevoeld. Daardoor durfde ik ook zo diep te gaan. Mo heeft me zo goed gesteund tijdens mijn reis. Ook daarna was het zo fijn “alles is goed en alles mag” en zo voelde het ook echt. Na de ceremonie werd er met zoveel liefde nog eten voor ons gemaakt, het is ongelofelijk hoe Mo en zijn team voor ons klaar stonden.
Van de reis heb ik onwijs veel geleerd, moeilijke stukken tegengekomen maar ik kijk nooit meer hetzelfde naar het leven en deze ervaring zit voorgoed in mijn ziel. Dank jullie mannen voor alles. Liefs Femke

Ik weet nu wat het is om mezelf over te moeten geven aan het lot en vertrouwen te hebben in de mensheid, wat niet gemakkelijk is in deze wereld. Mo bedankt voor de begeleiding en steun tijdens mijn meesterlijke ayahuasca reis, tijdens de reis heb ik veel gevoelt van mooie tot hele pijnlijke gevoelens. Het is voor mij zo fijn dat mijn pijnen een plekje hebben gekregen, voor mij zijn afgesloten en er echt een last van mijn schouders is gevallen. De wereld is voor mij echt zoveel mooier en leuker geworden, ook heb ik meer en andere inzichten gekregen en dat alles door moeder ayahuasca.
De ceremonie was super relaxt onder begeleiding van Bas ( Ayahuasquero)en Mo (begeleider), zij gaven en stralende vertrouwen uit en waren er echt voor mij en de andere deelnemers.
Voor mij zeker voor herhaling vatbaar !
Ik gun iedereen zo’n mooie ervaring met ayahuasca en raad iedereen Ayahuasca centre Amsterdam aan.

Bas asked me to write a testimonial on my experience at his place.
How can I refuse, but you’ll have to forgive me if this sounds a bit like “Komen Eten”
So, I never met or heard of Bas before.
Just googled and booked a trip for me and Anna.
Turns out, we were the only participants. A true blessing!
We drove all the way to Harlem Amsterdam expecting a city-like environment so imagine our surprise when we found ourselves cruising through open fields of grass, along streams of quite water surrounding farms. A peaceful scenery felt very promising.
Now, imagine our slight disappointment when we approached the ceremony place midst of an industrial complex!
We were nice on time so the door was open and we just walked inside only to find…two of the most warm welcoming men I’ve ever encountered.
Suddenly the outside world didn’t matter anymore.
Mo helped us unload the car.
The cozy decorated place had just enough space to comfortably accommodate 4 mattresses, a piano, a guitar, a table and a separate room for privacy to change into something comfortable.
The tea flooded abundant.
The fruit salad was provided with much care.
The Ayahuasca was prepared and served with the utter most Love and Respect for the plants and the participants. I appreciated the fact that She was served at room temperature. This made the acceptance into my system so easy.
Everything was cleansed in a ceremonial way.
Ofcourse, during the whole evening a selectively composed playlist was playing with a certain theme. Won’t tell you what it is. Go listen for yourself.
There were no restrictions for me and Anna and the men even left the room a couple of times just to give us some privacy. (Thank you guys)
Mo and the team are so well synchronized, it was a blessing having them take care of me.
Allowing me to go deep into my inner work while providing protection and guidance, especially during those trips to the -very clean- bathroom. 😀
